Sem Dekkers

Sem Dekkers, born on May 28, 2004, in Heiloo, is a Dutch footballer currently under contract with AZ. Dekkers began his football journey at VV HSV Heiloo and was scouted by AZ in 2014. He transitioned to the AZ Youth Academy and progressed through all the youth teams. In the 2021/22 season, he achieved both national and cup championships with AZ under 18. On August 8, 2022, Dekkers made his debut for Jong AZ in a match against MVV Maastricht, contributing to a 3-1 victory. In June 2023, he extended his contract with AZ until 2026. Sem Dekkers is an emerging talent on his way to greater success in the world of football.
